Aires, 1/32 scale

The MG 151/20 was considered to be one of the best aircraft cannons of the war. When introduced on the later Bf 109F-4 aircraft it was found to have both a high rate of fire and good reliability.

With the current issues of 109 kits by Hasegawa in 1/32 scale, it was only a matter of time before an accessory such as this was released.

Six parts make up this package and it is cast in the familiar Aires cream coloured resin.

The detail is excellent with all the features being sharp and flash free. Sensibly the gun tubes have been manufactured with protective barriers on each side to stop any breakage occurring to these long items.

Ammunition belts have been supplied and cleverly these are moulded in a flexible medium. This allows them to be positioned in a more realistic manner, thus opening up a whole range of diorama possibilities.

This is a fine effort from Aries and one that will allow the modeller to use their imagination.
