Beautifully moulded in the usual pale yellow resin, Aires has captured
all of the fine detail of their 1/72 scale F-104 Exhaust nozzle.
The detail from the turbine through to the hot and cold flaps of the
exhaust nozzle aperture has been faithfully reproduced. The cold flaps
(outer flaps) are so thin they are almost transparent and will need to
be handled carefully during removal from the moulding block.
The cooling liner (corrugated area within the afterburner has been
captured nicely in the moulding and the length of the afterburner looks
to be to scale.
A nice etched metal flame holder is included to be inserted just after
the turbine and will add to the exceptional detail already provided.
Assembly is straight forward and even a novice modeller could use this
