The first release from the re-launched Airwaves brand is a replacement wheel and undercarriage set for Hasegawa's 1/48 scale GR.7 and AV-8B kits.

Airwaves 1/48 scale Harrier and GR.7 and AV-8B undercarriage set comprises eleven in cream coloured resin. The parts are very well cast.

Parts breakdown is simple but this does not compromise detail, which is excellent. The gear legs are impressive, being cast in one piece each with oleo scissors, wiring and smaller details in place. Careful painting and weathering should bring out these features very nicely.

The wheels are also very nice. The main wheels and nose wheel are very subtly bulged.

The resin legs and wheels should be a drop fit replacement for Hasegawa's kit parts.

Airwaves 1/48 scale Harrier wheel and undercarriage set is a simple yet well detailed enhancement for Hasegawa's AV-8B and GR.7 kits.
