Airwaves

Hannants has provided the following information and images about forthcoming releases from Airwaves:

AES32008 He 162 ejection seat and weighted wheel set

(designed to be used with the Revell 1/32 scale kit)

AES32009 He 162 weighted wheel set

(designed to be used with the Revell 1/32 scale kit)

AES32010 He 162 ejection seat

(designed to be used with the Revell 1/32 scale kit)

AES48125 Harrier Gr.7 weighted wheels and undercarriage leg set - also see title image

AES72150 Concorde wheel set (also see title image)

This will be the first release in the Airwaves range since Hannants' take-over of Airwaves. Includes weighted nose wheel, weighted main wheels and seperate hubs. The new 1/72 scale Airfix kit has vinyl tyres with a one piece hub that push in from the front so are too small when viewed from the rear.

Our set has more accurate tyres AND they are weighted so the aircraft sits correctly and the hubs will be 2 piece which will enable both the wheels and the hubs to be painted separately without the need for masking. Then just slot the hubs in.

This set is due for release in October but no exact date or price is available at the moment.
