Meteor Productions has supplied the following information about several forthcoming conversions for Hasegawa's 1/32 scale Messerschmitt Bf 109E

Meteor Productions is pleased to announce our new 1/32 scale Cutting Edge Bf 109 sets, which will ship in 4-6 weeks. They are as follows:

• CEC32132 Bf 109B/C/D Super Detailed Cockpit For Hasegawa

• CEC32134 Bf 109B Conversion Set for Hasegawa

• CEC32135 Bf 109C Conversion Set for Hasegawa

• CEC32136 Bf 109D Conversion Set for Hasegawa

These sets have been mastered from original German, French, and Russian technical orders, engineering drawings, and photographs. What, French!? Russian!? Yes, a Bf 109B-1 was captured by the Republican forces in Spain and carefully evaluated by the French Air Force and the Soviet Air Force, both of whom photographed all parts of the plane and made “reverse engineered” engineering drawings of the airframe. I’m very glad these documents survived to the present!

We will also release decals for these early Bf 109 sets shortly after the resin sets are available.
