Macchi C.202 Folgore Exhausts

Hasegawa's 1/48 scale Macchi C.202 Folgore kit is very nice indeed, but the exhaust stacks are little more than featureless triangles. This is a particular problem as the exhausts are directed out at around a 45 degree angle, not straight back like most exhausts. The result is that the solid blank faces of the exhaust are very apparent to the casual observer.

Ultracast's resin replacement exhausts addresses this problem with two simple drop-fir replacement for the kit parts. Each stack is perfectly hollowed out and detail is excellent.

Each exhaust is attached to its individual casting block via a thin strip of resin. This will be very simple to remove with a few swipes of a scriber or a hobby knife.

Recommended for anyone building the Hasegawa 1/48 scale Macchi C.202 Folgore.
