Cutting Edge has embarked into the realm of seamless aftermarket intake parts and if this set is any indication, will be giving Seamless Suckers a real run for their money.

This simple set consists of a replacement for the front portion of the intake, ducting leading to the engine and a representation of the front face of the engine with fan blade detail. The ducting and intake front are molded in white to simplify painting and there is little flash and no pinholes are visible in the parts. The front landing gear bay is integral with the new intake front so construction is made even easier.

My only minor gripe is that no instructions were included in the review sample. I am confident that these parts are a drop fit replacement for the kit parts comprising the front portion of the intake but it would be nice to have that confirmed.

Jet intakes are always a challenge to model and F-16 intakes are notoriously tricky. This set is a welcome addition for those who would rather not model their Falcon with a FOD cover.
