Contact Resine has delivered a resin and photoetch upgrade for the Revell 1/32 scale He 162 which includes 20 high quality resin parts comprising include wheels, flap, rudder and cockpit detail. A photo etch fret is also included which adds the instrument panel, rudder panel and seat belts.

What sets this upgrade apart is the outstanding colour instructions that include photos of the entire resin and photetch placement. This has been done before but not as well as this, I believe.

The level of casting on the parts is first rate. There are no bubbles or distortions on any of the resin parts.

It is very pleasing to see that there are no casting blocks on the resin parts. Indeed, the parts are almost ready to use with only minimal cleanup required before painting and assembly.

The only disappointment with this set is the resin rivet detail on the sidewalls of the cockpit. This is noticeably over scale and would be best removed.

This upgrade will be a welcome addition to any modeller planning to build Revell’s 1/32 scale Heinkel He 162.
