Just Plane Stuff will release a 1/32 scale US WWII Carrier Flight Deck base in the coming weeks.

The stand will be cast in one large piece of Just Plane Stuff's hybrid lightweight resin and will be ready for paint. The deck is depicted as diagonal planks (relative to the orientation of the base) with crisply recessed rows of tie-downs.

Dimensions are approximately 12 5/8 by 14 5/8 inches by somewhere around 1 inch thick.

The base is surrounded by a "frame" with convincing woodgrain texture. The material is very lightweight despite the large size, which should result in a saving on postage costs.

Retail price will be USD $44.95. Your local hobby shop should be able to order these for you within 2 weeks.
