FirstLook

For those wanting a more refined control stick in their Bf 109, this product is sure to please.

Cast in a pleasing mid grey colour, Quickboost’s contribution is designed as a direct replacement for Hasegawa’s 32nd scale offering. There are two columns provided so those brave enough to attempt a Bf 109G-12 trainer need only purchase one packet.

The items are very nicely done with sharp detail and not a single air bubble in sight.
With the casting block located at the bottom of the parts, one is assured of an easy cleanup process.

In this scale it is important to capture all aspects of the control column and this has been done admirably. Everything is catered for including a realistic boot, hand grip, triggers, safety catch, and wiring.

Thoughtfully, the manufacturer has incorporated a pillar on each side of the components which should ensure that the contents arrive in one piece.

Conclusion

Willy Messerschmitt’s famous fighter has been kitted many times over the years. As good as the Hasegawa kit is there is always room for improvement.

The cockpit is usually an area that can do with some sprucing up and Quickboost give you a good start with this nicely done control stick.
