The Tamiya 1/72nd scale Corsair is a wonderful kit right out of the box, however it can be improved with aftermarket. That is where Quick Boost comes in.

The resin engine is made up of five pieces. The largest is the engine itself. It is flawlessly cast in light grey resin. It includes both the front and back row of cylinderYou will be surprised at the level of detail you get for the price you pay. The engine is a replacement part for the kit item. The magnetos and drains are the only other parts that are included.

This set should only take no cleanup. The instruction sheet is the on a piece of cardboard that shows where the parts go. The only downside is the lack of painting instructions. These are actually included on the Tamiya sheet.

Due to the low price and the excellent detail, I highly recommend this upgrade set to anyone who wants to add a little extra to their model.
