The Hasegawa 1/72 scale Spitfire Mk.VIII / IX kit is one of the best Spitfire kits around. Its main failing is its propeller assembly, which is undersized and the wrong shape. The High Planes Seafire Mk.III has a propeller that could probably be made into a good replica, but it would take a lot of work.

Red Roo has now come up with a solution to both of these problems. red Roo's propeller spinner is the right shape, and the separately-cast blades are also accurate.

The other two items in this set are multi-stack exhausts. These will be ideal for the Hasegawa kit, being better than the kit parts (although the plastic exhausts are not too bad).

Recommended.
