You don't find many modelling accessories for under $2.00 in 2003.
True Details' P-47N Thunderbolt Wheel Set is simplicity itself. Two
eight-spoke main wheels with nice rim and diamond tread pattern detail, are
supplied on a small resin casting block. Both wheels are "bulged and flattened".
These wheels will be suitable for
either the Academy or ProModeler 1/48 scale kits.
The wheels are certainly better detailed and finished than the equivalent
items in either kit. In addition, the one-piece resin wheels eliminate the need
to sand down the centre seam on the kit wheels so their is no risk of
eliminating tread pattern in the process.
They're inexpensive too!
