Spitfire Wheels

Ultracast adds to its impressive list of 1/48 scale Spitfire accessories with three more wheel sets. They are:

  • 48140 - Supermarine Spitfire 4-Spoke Wheels, Block Tread

  • 48141 - Supermarine Spitfire 3-Spoke Wheels, Block Tread

  • 48142 - Supermarine Spitfire 3-Spoke Wheels, Diamond Tread

Detail is very crisp on all the releases, including valve stems on the wheels. The tread patterns are deep and consistent. Another advantage is that there is no troublesome seam line to remove (along with tread detail) as is the case with plastic kit wheels.

 

    

 

These resin replacement wheels will make for permit absolute accuracy for specific subjects when building any of the many available Spitfire kits in 1/48 scale.
