Contact Resine's comprehensive 1/32 scale correction and detail set
(including a replacement nose and a full cockpit) for Azur's 1/32 scale
Dewoitine D.520. Further to last night's
Cutting Edge
1/48 scale F-4 Phantom Intake Preview, I should point out that the
sets supply the intake trunks in white and the other parts in grey
resin. I have uploaded new descriptions for the images on the Preview

The
first item for tonight includes 38 images and some impressions from a
two-plane formation flight in an
article entitled "Tiger Moth Flight - Take Two".
This Reference Feature documents my first experience with air-to-air
photography. Chris Wauchop builds
Eastern
Express's 1/72 scale Su-85 Tank Destroyer in a new Construction
Feature with 19 images. The prolific Ian Robertson
finishes
Hasegawa's 1/32 scale Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 in an interesting
Slovakian scheme. Ian's latest Feature includes nine images. Thierry Dekker is back
with some more Wallpaper for your computer screen.
Tonight's artwork is a Curtiss H-75A-1 Hawk. Tonight we have preview

Cutting Edge
Modelworks' four brand-new 1/48 scale seamless intakes for Hasegawa's
family of US and British F-4 Phantom IIs. Alan Griffiths from AMtech
has sent along the
final box art
for the AMtech Junkers Ju 88H-3/4 Fuhrungsmachine, and advises that
the kit should be available in shops any day now. I have added the box
art to the existing Preview page. Weekend Magazine - 3 & 4 April, 2004 I will be out town for a
few days, so updates will resume on Wednesday. I'll still be online

Hasegawa's
brand-new 1/32 scale Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-8 only three days after
receiving it from Japan! Jerry analyses some of the key parts of this
kit, and includes four images of the finished product. Chris Monck's latest
digital creation is an appropriate Gallery partner for Jerry's Wurger -
a Boeing
B-17G Flying Fortress. Yu Sik Kim's debut
HyperScale Gallery comprises seven images of his
1/72
scale Academy Typhoon. 2 April, 2004 The 1st of April somehow
did not seem to be the right time to announce a contest winner, but I am
now pleased to advise that Pierpaolo Maglio has been drawn as the winner
of the March Osprey competition. The P-40 books will be on their way
soon. Keep watching for the next Osprey competition in the coming weeks. Ian Robertson converts
Tamiya's 1/48
scale P-51D Mustang to the early filletless version in a new Feature
with nine images. Chip Jean builds
ProModeler's
1/48 scale Dornier Do 217E-5 in an interesting camouflage scheme for
our second Feature tonight. Noel Barnes' latest
profile is a Spitfire Vb in RAAF colours. Anton Alert!
Tonight I review
Hasegawa's brand-new 1/32 scale Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-8.
Images of all the parts are included. This kit has precisely nothing
in common with Hasegawa's old Fw 190A-8.
Nobelkraft is about to
release a set of resin replacement exhausts for Trumpeter's 1/32 scale
P-40B. An image of the parts has been posted to a Preview page.
Eagle Editions will be
releasing four decal sets for Hasegawa's new 1/32 scale Focke-Wulf Fw
190A-8. Artwork for one of these sheets is included on the Preview page. 1 April, 2004 Andrew Dextras explains
his Double
Diffusion fading and shading method in a new Feature Article about
his 1/48 scale Tamiya MiG-15. Phil "Bondo" Brandt builds
Collect-Aire's
1/48 scale Sukhoi Su-24M "Fencer D" in a new Feature with ten
images. Bruce Graham modifies
The
Fusilier's 1/24 scale Rifleman 24th Battalion AIF. Four images and a
description of the figure are included in this short Feature. Steven "Modeldad" Eisenman
reviews
Mushroom's new book, "Spitfire Mk.V". Steven includes an image of
the cover in his review. AIMS has reduced the price
of their
multi-media 1/72 scale Ju 88s as Previewed in last night's update.
The page has been changed to reflect the new prices. 31 March, 2004 Ian Robertson's Feature
tonight describes the detailing and painting of
ProModeler's 1/32 scale Messerschmitt Bf 109G-4. Ian includes
detailed construction photos in his newest Feature. Willy Peeters has another
new
cartoon, tonight a P-61 Black Widow. Andrew Judson has not
wasted any time in building and painting
Warriors' 1/35 scale British Soldier in Tropical Uniform. Andrew's
Gallery includes seven images. Franck Oudin's latest
Gallery comprises six photos of his
Tamiya
1/48 scale P-47D Thunderbolt "Bubbletop".
ULAD Decals has released two more decal sheets for Revell's 1/72 scale
U-Boat Type VIIC. Images have been posted to a Preview page. I have added
more information about the forthcoming 1/72 scale AIMS Junkers Ju 88
kits to their Preview page, including an introductory offer. 30 March, 2004 Dave Aungst wraps up his
series "Seven
Phantoms in Seven Months" with this months instalment on Hasegawa's 1/48
scale F-4J Phantom II.

bust of an SS Panzerjager, Hungary 1945, for a new Gallery. Tonight we are Previewing
Data Decals' forthcoming markings for Trumpeter's 1/32 scale early P-40.

forthcoming resin wheels for Trumpeter's 1/32 scale P-38 Lightning.
I have added these images to the Preview page. Andrew Judson takes a
first look at three new Warriors figure sets tonight. First is a
1/35 scale British Soldier in Tropical uniform. Finally, Andrew examines
the
latest Head Set, #7, with more skulls. In NSW, Australia, the
Central Coast Model Expo will be held on 17 and 18 April. Check out the

very serious conversion of the

scale Testor/Italeri Blackbrid to the earlier A-12 Blackbird. Toby

nice models and very attractive design. 26 March, 2004 Brian Criner finishes
Tamiya's 1/48 scale P-47D Thunderbolt "Bubbletop" in an Olive Drab
finish, and with an unusual ordnance load. Brian's new Feature includes
12 images. Today I took some new
photos of my five-year-old
1/48 scale Hasegawa Junkers Ju 87G-2
Tankbuster, before it was packed up to send to its new owner. I also
took the opportunity to update the original Feature Article with the new
photos and 2004-style formatting. The Feature has 14 images including
construction photos. Juanita Franzi's latest
Gallery
illustrates a French P-40F Warhawk and an Australian P-40E Kittyhawk. Tonight I review three
recent decal sheet from
Zotz Decals, 1/48 scale Belgian Vipers Parts 1-3, with some very
lively tail art! Images one of the covers and all of the fin artwork are

Mario Mabilia converts
Tamiya's
1/48 scale Messerschmitt Me 262 into the two-seater night fighter
using CMK sets.
Paul Nikolic has created
a new
artwork, "Albermarles Over Normandy". I confess I was not sure what an
Albermarle was before I did some more research tonight - it looks a bit
like Maryland meets Beaufort! Paul also includes an image of the model on
which the 3D work was based.
Rob Baumgartner reviews
Osprey's new book, "Slovakian and Bulgarian Aces of World War 2". Rob
describes the contents and includes an image of the front cover.
Once again, Rodger Kelly includes a striking reference
photo from Paul Newman in his review of
Cutting Edge Decals' 1/48 scale release for F/A-18C kits, "Hornet's

Jerry Crandall are helping out with the painting and markings of the 1:1
scale Focke-Wulf Fw 190D-13 under restoration at Mesa, Arizona. Judy
has sent a six photos of Jerry masking up the fuselage.

Belcher Bits has released a 1/48 scale Liberator GR.V "Dumbo" Radome /
Leigh Light conversion (with a bonus Belly Radome) for Revell-Monogram's
B-24 kit. This conversion set is reviewed tonight, includin images of the
resin and vac form parts.
Tonight I review
Hecker and Goros' new 1/72 scale U-Boat crew figures, although they
will also be appropriate for S-Boats and other Kreigsmarine subjects. Four
images of the figures are included.
Hecker and Goros has also announced a further set of 172 scale U-Boat
figures. A Preview page has been
prepared, including photos.
Ken Bowes reviews
Eagle
Strike Productions' 1/48 scale decals for F-16 Israeli Barak Part One.
Ken includes images of the decals, the cover and a potentially helpful
reference.
